Park Tool FR-5.2 freewheel remover tool

The FR-5.2 is a steel tool used to remove and install the cassete lockring and cogs on the rear wheel. The one inch base fits wrench or bench vise. Thin wall construction allows use without removal of cones and locknuts. The FR-5.2 has 12 splines that are approximately 23.4 mm across.

Features

• Fits Shimano®, SRAM® (including 1x), SunRace®, SunTour®, Chris King® and other cassette lockrings.
• Also fits some Shimano® disc brake lockrings.
• Center bore for axle clearance is 12 mm.
• Base size for socket or wrench is 1" or 25.4 mm.
• Always use an axle nut to hold tool firmly in place during removal and installation.
