XX Eagle Transmission: a new connection between derailleur and cassette

Hangerless interface and full mount system
The T-Type rear derailleur is mounted around the same axis as the wheel, in direct contact with the cassette thanks to the new Hangerless interface and the revolutionary Full Mount mounting method, which makes a much stronger connection by gripping both sides of the frame.

Replaceable protection plates
Installation and connection take place via the reliable standard set-up and connection procedure of Eagle AXS derailleurs. The compact profile housing replaceable protective covers and chain tension maintenance function, increase the reliability of the rear derailleur during the most agitated phases of the race.

Unrivalled shifting performance
Unmatched performance in shifting but also in weight because the XX Eagle Transmission gear cage is made of carbon. The finishing touch? The shifter outer and 'B-Knuckle' cover in an elegant black finish.

Magic Wheel: everything you need to win
It features an Overload Clutch, a compact profile and a lower pulley called the Magic Wheel that keeps turning even if you get something stuck in it.

New AXS Pod controller: ergonomics and lightness
Updated ergonomics and a greater range of adjustments of the AXS Pod controller transform rider-activated impulse into a new customisable experience in both function, via the AXS app, and button adjustment.
The new design features two "click and fire" buttons with an intuitive action that requires the ideal amount of rider input to activate.
The AXS Pod controller is lightweight, has a top-notch finish and can be mounted left or right thanks to its unique reversible design.

The Flattop chain is the strongest ever made by Sram
This is the strongest chain ever created by Sram and has been designed to specifically optimise the Eagle drivetrain. Its aesthetics are revolutionary: the new T-Type design features the Flattop profile with a flat top, a shape that maximises shifting performance and makes the look of the bike unmistakable.
The dedicated chain for the XX Eagle derailleur features an extremely durable chrome finish and drilled pins.
