Prologo Scratch M5 Pas CPC TiroX saddle

The saddle that Won the Tour de France 2020 and 2021 with the patented technology CPC

Scratch M5 CPC PAS, the new level of performance. CPC technology is the same technology used in Formula 1, patented by Prologo for the cycling industry. The 3D polymer cones maximize grip and help to quickly change position in the saddle.

Thanks to the new "T SHAPE" design, size and ergonomics, the SCRATCH M5 CPC is a unisex saddle (men and women).

The MSS- Multi Sector System seat system, designed in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano, contributes to improve comfort and performance. The active and separate foams create five zones that work in an intelligent and individual way to promote the normal pedaling movement. The round shape of the SCRATCH M5 allows the pelvis to rotate naturally, creating stability and support for the lower back; it also helps distribute pressure over a larger surface area.

The Perineal Area System (PAS) is a channel designed to eliminate pressure spikes and numbness by improving blood flow. Its unique ergonomic design, aided by variable density foam, eliminates contact points in the prostate-genital area. The PAS channel is optimal for users who prefer performance combined with comfort over long and medium distances.

Technologies

CPC - Connect Power Control
Placed in clever points to absorb vibrations and shocks, it also helps the rider to keep the best position on the bike by ensuring the necessary grip in all weather conditions. Gloves provide a greater grip increasing control and handling. It removes the risk of any numbness as the blood flow is stimulated by the CPC through a “kinetic massage”. Tested by professional Road and MTB teams ensures comfort and increases performance. The CPC technology is used in the military and in Formula 1 (seats and special gloves) and uses a polymer material in 3D, empty, unique in its kind.

TiroX Rail
Rail light-alloy steel, highly resistant to traction, and torsion, for its physical characteristics and light weight, is used in the aviation and aerospace industry. TiroX then turns out to be a rail with a good balance between weight and strength, that doesn’t fear the normal stress that addresses a bicycle.

MSS - Multi Sector System
The Multi-Sector System provides different individual zones mapped and separated along the saddle, each composed of different interactive foams and single-cell padding. These areas work independently adapting to all the positions that cyclist can take.

Pas System
Pas technology (Perineal Area System) eliminates pressure spikes and numbness in the pelvic area; Pas works better than the traditional anatomical cutout.
The Pas technology is achieved thanks to a particular anatomical shape design of the foam and base. The saddle performance is ensured thanks to the unchanged integrity of the base. The final result provides optimum comfort and performance.
