Merida One Twenty RC 300
If you like trail bike-inspired geometry and a more relaxed seating position but don't need the 120mm rear travel that the ‘classic’ ONE-TWENTY brings to the table, then the more XC and marathon-oriented RC 300 is the perfect choice. Entry-level ONE-TWENTY RC model based on a triple-butted aluminium frame with FLOAT LINK activated 100 mm rear travel, combined with 120 mm front. A super effective mileage cruncher that loves long cross country rides as much as fun trail sessions. The fast-rolling 29’ wheels and tyres quickly cover the ground and help create a super smooth ride. Completely redesigned for 2019, the ONE-TWENTY continues its success story in the 2022 season. With numerous test successes, including a ‘BEST IN TEST’ in Enduro Mountainbike Magazine for the ONE-TWENTY 2020 8000, the mid-size road bike will once again impress with its versatility and ability to crunch unstoppable trails. Although a trail bike at heart, modern yet balanced trail geometry combined with fantastic frame stiffness has created a mid-range race bike that is super capable on rough trails but also carries speed perfectly on technically less demanding trails. . And to give riders maximum choice, we will again offer the ONE-TWENTY in the ‘classic’ configuration of 120 mm rear/130 mm front travel or the slightly more XC-oriented ‘RC’ configuration of 100 mm rear/120 mm front travel, which also has a slightly steeper head angle and seat angle for improved climbing performance.

Technologies
PROLITE 66 TRIPLE BUTTED ALUMINIUM
Our proven high-end aluminium (6066) is extremely light and strong. By using triple wall thicknesses and hydroforming technology, we can fine-tune the aluminium tubes to offer the best possible stiffness-to-weight ratio.
X-TAPER HEADTUBE
Our X-Tapered headtube offers space for mounting a tapered fork. Tapered forks offer exceptional stiffness and precision, and provide confidence-inspiring steering.
SMOOTH WELDING
Sometimes called ‘double pass welding’, a second pass on the weld gives the frame a clean, organic appearance. At first glance, you'll be convinced it's carbon.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike has a clean appearance, while the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.
DOWN TUBE EXIT
Ensures that internally routed cables and wires cannot move freely and remain easily accessible for maintenance.
SMART ENTRY
Cables, housings and brake hoses are tightened under tension to prevent rattling when paths or roads become rough. All inlets are fully interchangeable to handle Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cables and shifting cable housings, etc.
DI2 READY
Bikes/frames with the ‘Di2 Ready’ symbol are prepared for the installation of Di2 technology by mounting the battery in the seatpost or inside the fork.
FLOAT LINK REAR SUSPENSION
The lower shock mount moves with the system to provide sensitive response characteristics. Our engineers can precisely influence the gear ratio and progression, which means a ‘Float Link’ rear suspension system appears to offer more travel than the model name suggests.
NON-SLIP TIGHTENING
Selected bolts can be tightened on one side only, without the risk of the opposite side slipping or rotating, allowing for faster and more direct tightening of important hardware components.
