Merida eONE-FORTY 475 IV1
The eONE-FORTY 475 proves that you don't have to spend a fortune to get a robust trail eMTB that can power your adventures, with the refined Shimano EP8 drivetrain unit and a sturdy aluminium frame and elegantly integrated 750 Wh high-capacity battery. Suntour suspension and a differentiated wheel size configuration ensure true off-road prowess combined with smile-inducing agility. Quality components such as the wide range of Shimano drivetrains and powerful four-piston brakes keep you in control at all times.
The eONE-FORTY is the 'little sister' of the multiple test-winning eONE-SIXTY, but when it comes to providing agile handling on the trail with superb flow and fun, it is second to none. Equipped with Shimano's powerful yet refined EP8 drive unit and a 630 Wh or 750 Wh (model specific) battery perfectly integrated into the frame, it is the perfect partner for all kinds of adventures. The balanced geometry is paired with a mixed 29er/27.5" wheel configuration that offers fun for riders of all abilities, while the perfect seatpost angle increases climbing ability, something ideal for an all-day e-bike mission. The low bottom bracket and lower standover height mean more safety, while the 140mm of front wheel travel and 133mm of rear wheel travel offer control, comfort and great capabilities over rough terrain.

Technologies
HFS - Hydro Forming System
Tubes are inserted into negative moulds and a hot emulsion of water and oil is forced under pressure, allowing them to form complex shapes.
X-Taper Headtube
The X-Tapered headtube provides space for mounting a tapered fork. Conical forks offer exceptional rigidity and precision and provide confidence-inspiring steering.
Smooth Welding
Sometimes called 'double pass welding', a second pass on the weld gives the frame a clean, organic appearance. At first glance, you'll be convinced it's carbon.
Internal Cable Routing
Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike has a clean look, while the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.
Smart Entry
Cables, housings and brake hoses are tightened under tension to prevent rattling when the trails or roads get rough. All inputs are fully interchangeable to handle Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cables and shifting cable housings etc.
DI2 Ready
Bikes/frames with the "Di2 Ready" symbol are prepared for the installation of Di2 technology by mounting the battery in the seatpost or inside the fork.
Racelite 61 aluminium
Merida uses 6061 aluminium. The advantage is that lighter and more advanced frames can be produced. Additional heat treatment and double wall thicknesses are used to produce light and rigid frames.
K-Mount
Integrated mount on the horizontal chainstay to mount a MERIDA stand (or any commercial stand).
Casting Motor Bracket
Sophisticated shape possible only through casting technology, creating an integrated appearance and an extremely strong connection between the motor and e-bike frame for improved performance and reliability.
Internal block
First introduced in our 2015 NINETY-SIX, the new version of the "internal block" is incorporated directly into the frame and prevents the fork crown from hitting the frame in the event of a crash or extreme steering angle. As extra protection, there are additional rubber bumpers on the frame to prevent damage to the frame caused by the fork crown.
Energy Guard Twist
Twist Lock mechanism at the top end of the Energy Guard battery cover for easy locking and unlocking of the internal battery cover.
