Mavic Cosmic SL 65 Carbon Ust Disc Centerlock wheelset

With its lightweight rims featuring UST Road Tubeless technology, optimised for disc brakes, these new carbon road wheels climb and spin at incredible speed. A perfect choice for fast rides on flat roads or windy triathlons, they feature progressive aerodynamic technology and excellent pedalling stability. The rims are designed with a 65mm deep and 26mm wide NACA profile.

The wide, rounded shape of the Cosmic SL 65 rim was developed through countless hours in the wind-tunnel to produce the lowest possible drag without sacrificing stability in crosswinds. New refined spokes make it 80g lighter than its predecessor, the Comete Pro Carbon UST Disc. The new rim bed shape makes it easier than ever to fit tubeless or tube type tires. The new Infinity hub platform optimizes the spoke lacing for efficient power transfer through highly controlled spoke tension. And the Instant Drive 360 freewheel coupled with automatic bearing preload (QRM Auto) provides fast engagement, high stiffness and extra durability.

Technologies

UST Tubeless Ready tyre
Traction, control and lightweight. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort while reducing inertia and flats. The 'tubeless ready' construction results in a lighter tyre for improved performance.

QRM Auto bearing preload technology
Mavic latest innovation. Those cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play on the long run.

Instant Drive 360
The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super light and fast to engage at a rotation with only 9°. A large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.
