OSPW - Oversized Pulley Wheel Systems
The new CeramicSpeed Oversized Pulley Wheel System is proven to be better! No matter if you are an enthusiast or a professional rider – you will always demand more when it comes to performance and the Oversized Pulley Wheel System is always ready to answer these demands.
The oversized system consist of alloy pulley wheels fitted with low friction CeramicSpeed Bearings, a lightweight cage made of polyamide and carbon fiber and titanium bolts. This lightweight combination helps the system to have a better performance compared to other standard pulley wheel systems on the market.
Both CeramicSpeed Oversized Pulley Wheel Systems for Shimano and Sram have been tested by the former independent test lab Friction Facts (Friction Facts was acquired by CeramicSpeed November 2016). The test concluded that the Oversized Pulley Wheel System had up to 40 - 60 % lower friction compared to the other 11-tooth stock pulleys. Thanks to the size of the pulleys and the cage system, your watt saving starts at 1.6 watts on a OSPW System for Sram and 2.4 watts on a OSPW System for Shimano.

High quality ceramic products
All the parts used in the CeramicSpeed Bearings and chains are carefully selected from the highest quality suppliers. This allows us to create the ultimate performance products, which meet the demands of competitive athletes, enthusiast riders and industry manufacturers. The CeramicSpeed products are seeking to optimise the performance of every rider, increasing their chances to the podium or upgrading their biking experience to pro.
The balls CeramicSpeed uses in the its Bearings are of very high quality and have a super smooth surface, compared to both steel balls and other ceramic balls used for bicycles. This gives the CeramicSpeed Bearings extreme impact strength, unmatched longevity and very low friction. Within the bearings, the CeramicSpeed Balls are kept in place by a reinforced polyamide cage. Balls and cages are matched (within microns) with the finest hardened steel raceways and an ultra smooth polished groove. To this, CeramicSpeed adds the optimised low-viscosity CeramicSpeed Grease and no friction seals to keep water and dirt away from the CeramicSpeed Balls.
Every single bearing is hand built in Denmark under laminar flow clean room conditions. CeramicSpeed inspects each bearing by hand four times during the building process and check the optimised chains every step of the process to ensure that all parts are matched perfectly.

CeramicSpeed Balls
All CeramicSpeed Balls are of the highest quality Grade 3 Silicon Nitride, featuring the highest achievable surface finish and roundness. The quality of the balls is what determines the performance and lifetime of a bearing. The CeramicSpeed Balls feature unparalleled impact strength, smoothness, roundness and brittleness, proven to be superior to both ceramic and steel balls tipically used in the cycling components.

Maintenance

Regarding the maintenance of your OSPW System, it is important that you properly lubricate your bearings in order to ensure optimal performance and maximum longevity. Add oil by using the lubrication points on the back cage plate, so that oil can penetrate the bearing. Do this when you lubricate your chain, if you have washed your bike or after riding in wet or muddy conditions.

Note
Please note while there are visual similarities in the 9100 Series OSPW and 9200 Series OSPW, the spring tension settings, rotation stop tower placement, and mounting pin depth are slightly repositioned and as such the systems are not cross compatible.
The OSPW System for 9200 is NOT currently approved for Ultegra 8170 derailleur.
