DB Kitsuma is a highly adjustable rear shock that is incredibly intuitive and easy to tune. Built for maximum performance on any terrain. DB Kitsuma simplifies the tuning process by increasing the range of adjustment while reducing the number of external positions in each circuit – making each position more meaningful and discernable on the trail.

Tool free, 4-Way adjustment
DB Kitsuma is highly tunable and simplifies the tuning process by eliminating the need for tools. Low-speed compression and rebound circuits are controlled within a single rotation, while high-speed circuits are controlled within two rotations. On-trail adjustments have never been quicker and more intuitive thanks to DB Kitsuma’s clearly indicated and easy to use adjusters. (firm | soft = high speed compression; slow | fast = high speed rebound; firm | soft = low speed compression; slow | fast = low speed rebound).

Climb switch, 3-position
Descend. Climb. Firm. – The new three position climb switch retains Double Barrel’s “Descend” mode, its patented “CS” mode which provides a stable, yet responsive platform engineered to maximize traction and pedal efficiency while climbing over technical terrain and singletrack. DB Kitsuma also adds a new “Firm” mode. By utilizing a design that closes off the common bleed port, this third position excels at pedaling over long stretches of pavement or gravel roads on your way to the trail.

Like all Cane Creek Suspension, DB Kitsuma is designed, developed and hand-built by riders in Western North Carolina. Informed by the endless climbs and technical descents of the Pisgah National Forest the DB Kitsuma was born from the experience of the hardcore riders who call Cane Creek home. This shock was developed completely in-house by Cane Creek’s engineering team and rigorously tested on some of North America’s most legendary trails.

Technology

Double Barrel Twin Tube
Exclusive Twin Tube Technology circulates oil continuously through the damping valving to achieve highly controllable, independent damping for both compression and rebound strokes. This unique design moves oil through externally adjustable valving instead of the main piston, allowing for superior tunability and eliminating the need for internal valving changes to achieve proper shock setup.
