Auto repositioning At all times the intelligence of the SUPER RECORD WIRELESS electronics recognises the position of the rear derailleur and the selected sprocket. This data is used by the control algorithm to automatically check the optimal position of the derailleur, activating micro-adjustments when necessary to always reposition itself in the best position with respect to the chain line. The advanced electronics of the SUPER RECORD WIRELESS extend the riding experience even before and after pedalling, interacting with the synoptic dashboard of the revolutionary MYCAMPY 3.0 App, where it is possible to display the rear derailleur position, the selected sprocket, the number of shifts made and many other performance parameters.

This means that the system is able to protect its electronic components from dust and liquid ingress. To achieve the stringent IP69K classification, all electronic components of the system underwent a series of tests that proved their perfect functionality after being subjected to a pressurised water jet at each of the 4 angles (0° - 30° - 60° - 90°) for 2 minutes in total.

The chain in its apparent simplicity performs a critical and fundamental function for the rider's safety and for optimising the entire drivetrain mechanism. The new Super Record chain also had to be redesigned to interface with all the other new drivetrain components. The first and fundamental objective was therefore to reduce its overall dimensions. The width is now 5.15 millimetres thanks also to the new pins perfectly aligned with the outer surface of the links. The second objective was to safeguard its performance thanks to the Ultra-link system that confers safety and durability to the chain and to a special treatment that guarantees extremely high smoothness and precision in shifting. The Super Record™ chain is available in two locking options: the classic Campagnolo pin, or the new C-Link™, for even easier removal and cleaning. The two versions have been designed to offer the versatility required to meet the different needs of each type of use. The Super Record brake callipers ensure powerful and controllable braking in all situations thanks to 22 millimetre diameter pistons. Pad return is now optimised to ensure no friction when the brake lever is released. A special metal plate positioned between the pad and the caliper piston dampens vibrations during braking. The different Campagnolo brake calipers have been designed to be fitted in combination with the disc chosen by the user, always ensuring high levels of performance: it is in fact possible to choose the brake caliper with a 140 mm disc (limited to cyclists weighing no more than 82 kg) or 160 mm disc. Particular attention has also been paid to facilitating maintenance and assembly operations: the pads have a wear indicator and their replacement is facilitated by the absence of physical return springs. Work has also been done on the disc's entry into the caliper to facilitate and speed up wheel change.

The ergonomics of the control is even more efficient and effective, thanks to a new shape of the control body that allows a comfortable and firm grip when in high grip. The brake lever has now been redesigned so that it is easier to reach when in low grip, while maintaining the Campagnolo style and design. It is also possible to adjust the position of the brake lever so that it can be reached perfectly according to the rider's needs, adapting to all types of handlebars and all hand sizes. The absence of wires and cables makes it easy to install, and the battery has an incredibly long lifespan thanks to a sophisticated firmware that manages all the component electronics. The new Super Record Wireless controls can be used for up to 2 years without the need to replace the battery. The possibility of switching the control off is also provided by a hidden but easily accessible button inside the control body. The LED located inside the control body will then be the visual contact point to signal when the battery is low, and the charge level can be checked via the MyCampy 3.0 application. The shift buttons are positioned on the brake lever to ensure easy accessibility for all cyclists both when pedalling in high grip and when pedalling in low grip. The shift buttons have the perfect balance between actuating force and tactile feedback that allows you to feel the actuation. They can also be customised via the MyCampy 3.0 application, associating them with the rear and front derailleur according to one's preferences.

ULTRA-TORQUE™ Lightness, rigidity and simplified assembly: ULTRA-TORQUE™. Campagnolo® has permanently bonded the bottom bracket semi-axles to their respective crankset arms. This redesign has made it possible to considerably reduce the lateral bulk at the height of the axle, thus avoiding unwanted contact with the ankle during pedal rotation. Set-up is extremely simple, a single oversize screw makes the two semi-axles integral. This has been achieved through the use of an ingenious mechanical system derived from long experience in the field of axle shaft couplings: the Hirth joint. This is, in essence, a self-centring and self-aligning front tooth coupling that is placed centrally in the axis of the movement where the ends of the axle shafts integrated in the crank arms come into contact. This system can be safely compared, in terms of torque transmission efficiency, to a pivot made in one piece, thus guaranteeing unparalleled power transmission efficiency.
