The short-sleeved race jersey, tested during the WorldTour and redesigned with a more aerodynamic cut along the arms, provides more breathability and freshness in an even lighter construction. The sleeves of the EQUIPE RS S11 jersey are made of a completely new fabric, much lighter than previous versions but with the same level of compression and snug fit, which conforms to the body like a second skin. The texture of the new material promotes aerodynamics during aggressive pedaling positions, reducing friction along the body profile. The jersey's main fabric, miniCheck Tex, is the same as that used for the previous model and provides ultra-light, ultra-breathable comfort as well as wraparound compression support, while PILtec Plug-In technology, which combines an ultra-light fabric strip with silicone micro-textures, anchors the jersey at the back and stabilizes it during out-of-saddle rides, sprints, and turns, even when the fabric is damp or wet.

Technologies

Featured Fabrics
A 3D broadcloth fabric, it offers high breathability, stretch, UPF 25 protection and the characteristic texture of ASSOS jerseys across the front. Pockets are held in place by a Stabilizer V11 back panel, which features breathable fabrics and is so lightweight (UPF 15) that suggest applying some sunscreen before wearing the jersey. It also provides more stability by preventing the fabrics from moving and drooping when the pockets are full. The sleeves are made of the new ladderproof 550CX fabric, which provides UPF 35 protection and features aerodynamic properties and a cut with two-way stretch that hugs the muscles.

Construction/Fit
The racingFit is an aerodynamic, close-fitting cut like a second skin, designed and proven in race conditions with input from WorldTour cyclists. Compression fabrics, micro-adaptive shaping, and raw-cut, low-cut hems make racingFit the perfect collection for speed riders.

Raw Cut & Bonded
The sleeves, bottom hem and zipper all have raw cut bonded hems, eliminating transitional creases and preserving the clean, sleek lines of the jersey.

Triple Ramp Pockets
Flexible fabric panels sewn into the pockets create pleats that lock and stabilize the contents while protecting them from precipitation or water splashing up from the road surface

PILtec Plug-In
The back hem features an ultra-lightweight strip of ultra-breathable fabric combined with silicone micro-textures, a treatment that stabilizes the back panel and holds the jersey in place even when the fabric is damp or wet.
