Knog Blinder Road 600 front light

When it was introduced in 2012, the Blinder Road set the standard by which any serious road cyclist's lights were measured. Combining a lightweight design, perfect beam angles, powerful light output and its unique mounting system, the Blinder was an instant classic. Now redesigned for 2020, Knog is proud to introduce the all-new Blinder Road 600. The Blinder Road 600 features all the best attributes of the original Blinder Road, but now with an incredible 600 lumens of light output. When this increase in lighting power is combined with carefully considered beam angles for road riding, you have the most powerful and perfect Knog road bike light ever.

Advanced LEDs and optics
There is no such thing as a universal bike light. Depending on your end use and even the type of bike, you can choose the best bike light to use. Blinder Road uses 2 LEDs each capable of independently producing 400 lm of power or 600 lm when used together. The LHS optic has a 12 degree beam that provides a perfect reflector for racing and fast riding on smooth roads. While the RHS optic has a 32-degree radius that demonstrates a flood light that is better suited for use on slower routes on bumpy or uneven driving conditions. Each LED has a variety of flash patterns and works independently of the other.

Unique attachment system
The use of silicone to create the elastomer strap combined with an over-molded polycarbonate clip system allows the Blinder Road to accommodate the many different configurations required by today's road cyclists, many of whom have GPS systems on their bikes. The Blinder Road is stylish and versatile enough to fit into a multitude of today's high-end bicycle cockpits. (Includes two removable silicone straps for 22-28mm and 29-35mm bars).

Built-in waterproof USB charging
The Road Blinder is 100% waterproof with an IP67 rating, meaning you'll submerge your light in depths greater than 1 meter for over 30 minutes without damage (note if you're under 1 meter of water on your bike, the waterproofing of your light is probably the least of your worries). The light is charged via built-in USB, which means it requires no additional cables to charge from a USB port and no disposable batteries are needed.

Intuitive functionality
When your Blinder's battery is about to run out, a red LED will light up next to the button. This ring will turn green and then turn off when the Blinder is fully charged and ready to use. With a wider rather than longer design, the juxtaposition of the 2 optics side-by-side keeps the center of gravity as close to the handlebars as possible, preventing potential movement on uneven roads. Finally, Blinder Road's buttons and strap closures are all at the perfect ergonomic angle to present themselves to the rider the buttons are long enough to be used while wearing gloves.
