DT Swiss F 535 One Incontrol Plushport 29" Boost tapered rake 51 mm

F 535 One - The suspension answer to the versatile demands of AM - riding

Are you the type of person who on Monday morning is still daydreaming about the weekend’s ride, drifting into berms, pumping the trail and looking for the fastest line through the rockgarden? Then the F 535 ONE is the fork for you. The combination of coil and air springs and progressive travel gives you everything you could want from a fork for uncompromising riding. The more the fork compresses, the more compression damping you get, staying supple for ultimate traction and firming up to give you the mid stroke support when things get gnarly!

Technologies

Two-In-One Remote
This remote lever gives the rider the ability to quickly choose the right setting for any riding situation, without ever taking a hand off the handlebar. Made entirely from high quality aluminum parts, it gives precise haptic and acoustic feedback with each actuation – so that the rider is at all times aware of the current damping setting.

APT
The APT (Adaptable Progression Tune) system allows the rider to adjust the progression of the air spring curve by adding or removing volume spacers in the air chamber of the fork. This enables riders to adjust their spring curve to their riding style and the trails they are riding. The beauty of the system lies in the fact that the suppleness of the fork is unaffected, regardless of the setting chosen.

InControl
Compression damping is defined by the amount of oil which can flow in different channels. The smaller the channels, the higher the flow resistance and the higher the damping. INCONTROL damping provides three on-the-fly damping adjustments offering the perfect compression tune for every riding situation by opening and closing different channels.

  • In OPEN mode, the oil flows through the low- and high-speed compression channels. OPEN mode offers sensitivity and therefore a lot of traction. To meet all preferences, the adjustment needle allows the LSC channel to be closed in stages, increasing the LSC and resulting in a firmer feeling.+
  • DRIVE mode closes the LSC channel. All the oil flows through the HSC channel. The shims of the HSC open at a certain force, resulting in higher compression damping which reduces energy loss but maintains traction on rocky uneven uphills.
  • When LOCK mode is set, a slider closes the LSC and HSC oil channels. Ideal for sprinting situations on even tracks where maximum power transmission is key. A blow-off valve protects rider and equipment from unexpected hits.

LineAir
LineAir is a dual-air chamber system. Through the size of the air chambers and position of the bypass, the characteristic of the spring curve is specifically tuned to meet the needs of XC riders. A low breakaway force for traction, a linear but flatter mid-stroke section that allows you to float over root carpets and an end progression to eat the big hits.
The Line Air system consists of a bypass located in the air chamber. The bypass ensures that the pressure inside the negative air chamber is higher than in the positive air chamber when the fork is fully extended. This reduces the breakaway force.

Coilpair
Coilpair produces real coil sensitivity in a lightweight spring system ensuring small bump sensitivity. A small coil spring works with the air spring in the first 30 mm of travel. Due to the zero breakaway force of the coil spring, it compresses before the air spring piston even starts to move. The spring unit is connected to the lower unit of the fork via a spring connector. The spring connector basically consists of a coil spring and a guide bushing.
The steel spring of the spring connector absorbs minor impacts before they can be transferred to the air spring unit. Since the air spring unit with its sliding seals is more inert than a steel spring, the slightest unevenness is absorbed by the steel spring of the spring connector without the seals' static friction having to be overcome. In the event of major impacts or sustained force on the lower unit, the steel spring in the spring connector is compressed to such an extent that the force is transmitted directly to the spring unit. The cycle starts anew when the fork is relieved and loaded again.

Plushport
Plushport adds a new dimension - travel - to the common, entirely speed dependent, damping system. It generates the right compression damping in every stroke. With PLUSHPORT you get small bump sensitivity, mid stroke support and bottom out control.
